At New Beginnings Doula Training we try to stay neutral when it comes to many topics. The overturning of Roe Vs. Wade is one that is a hot topic, causing many arguments, but we also see the need to provide resources for the community to be the most informed that they can be. Being informed about the laws and your choices in your state is our goal.

Abortion is the big issue these days in the U.S.A. We wanted to take some time and provide some different resources regarding abortion. The state laws are changing quickly, here are some resources that can provide insight into current laws.

Abortion is the loss of the fetus, for any reason, before it is able to survive outside the womb. The term covers accidental or spontaneous ending, or miscarriage, of pregnancy as well as deliberate terminationAn induced abortion, is a procedure to end a pregnancy. It can be done two different ways:Medication abortion, or medical abortion, which uses medication to end the pregnancy. Procedural abortion, or surgical abortion, a procedure to remove the pregnancy from the uterus.
