We are pleased to announce the release of a new video/webinar series as a part of our online doula training program. “The Art of Breastfeeding” is now available as a supplement to the childbirth course which is part of the full doula training curriculum. Students who have paid for the course in full, or up to six months on the monthly payment plan, will have access to all six episodes in the series.
The series was originally intended as an audiocast only, but we’ve gone to the extra trouble of creating a slideshow-style presentation to accompany the audio track. This allows students a visual reference to the spoken word.
Each episode runs approximately 20 to 25 minutes in length. The series is broken up into 6 different segments entitled as follows:
- The Benefits of Breast Milk
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Biological Nurturing
- Logistics of Feeding
- Breastfeeding Problems
- Conclusion
The first video is publicly available via our new YouTube channel. The full series will also be published and made available via the Childbirth Library. This series will provide a low-cost alternative to traditional breastfeeding courses, while also empowering mothers with accurate and research-based information on a natural and intuitive approach to breastfeeding.

Kristina, Our appoglogies! We actually had to pull down the breastfeeding website as we had copyrighted information in the presentation that we did not have permission to use. We plan to re-edit the presentation and get it back online and available at https://shop.trainingdoulas.com/. Check back soon!
