Hello! Quick check.. It seems like the 2010 publication of this book is the second edition. There is a 2017 publication of this book (and this seems to be the latest), with a different cover by the same author, that is listed as the 3rd edition.
The 2010 publication is no longer in print. If I were to purchase, is it okay to just go ahead with the 2017, 3rd edition? (If the 2010 publication is preferable, I can purchase it used.)

The 2017, 3rd Edition will be fine. The Lamaze Guide is not a required reading text for the program. It is listed here as suggested supplemental reading.
