Facebook group for NB Doula Training Students and AlumniWe are please to announce the formation of a Facebook group which has been specifically formed for the benefit of students taking the New Beginnings Doula Training  Program, an initiative taken by one of our more recent new students. This was something that we had hoped to add to our online interface as a forum or something similar. However with our limited time presently, it’s been something that we’ve had to put on the back burner. This group is great alternative and we openly welcome it.

As of this writing, there are 35 students that have joined. Rachel has been granted administrator access to the group, primarily to make sure that only paying students have access to the group. However, this venue is being monitored by students, and is for students to use as they feel they need to.  Please use it as a way to find encouragement in your struggles as you work through the program, to voice concerns, to help you develop your ideas and thoughts, anything that can help you as you work through the course.  This may also be a helpful venue for networking and creating connections where you wouldn’t be able to do so otherwise.  We see a lot of positives and not too many negatives in this addition to the program and hope to incorporate elsewhere into the program in the months to come.

We do request that you keep the conversations respectful towards one another and towards the program. If you have a legitimate concern directly with the program, the forums would not be the proper place to vent such frustration. Rather please contact us directly. We try to respond to all requests in a timely manner and fashion.

If you have already signed up for the course and would like to join the group, visit https://www.facebook.com/groups/233314480125622/ and click  “Join Group,” or just follow the link below:
