Because I want to make sure that the doula’s I train stay up to date with their skills, re-certification is required.  Re-certification is required every two years.  All you have to do is turn in paperwork that shows you have completed 40 educational units that are either provided on this site, or other approved site.  Once you have completed 40 credits, pay a $25 every two years to be re-certified.  Re-certification will allow you to continue to be on our doula’s online data base.  Check back regularly as new educational units will be added.  For most of these all you need to do is write a short paper on how the information applies to your work as a doula.
